Whether you are just starting out or have reached a plateau, Medway Studios offers training to help in all areas of house music production

Courses cover application specific training in most of the major DAWs used today. In addition lessons that involve each step, from creation to completion of dance music, are covered.

The tutoring is given to you by someone with close to 20 years experience in this field, and a former teacher at one of the best recording schools in the United States.

Unlike many schools and tutorials, you will learn the specific tips and tricks that successful producers employ in making dance music tracks

The content of each course is custom made based your needs as a student. In this way you don't waste time covering areas you don't require help with.

The courses can take place either at your own studio or at Medway Studios located just outside of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Platforms Supported

Here are some of the main programs that are supported for lessons.

Steinberg SX3

SX3 Is Medway Studios sequencer of choice for a few years now. It offers ease of use with nice customization options. Editing and quantizing MIDI along with rich audio functions make it a well rounded package. Very soon Cubase 4.1 will take over these duties.

Ableton Live 7

Live 7 is now a viable DAW solution itself or still very useful as a Rewire slave. It's an excellent choice for manipulating loops and its arrangement via 'scenes' is unparalleled.

Other programs for tuition include: Reason 4, FruityLoops 7, and Logic 8.
