It says about the sliding waveform on page 123 of the manual...only one sentence though and is much clearer to see it on screen.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't in there when I made the videos as I read it back and forth around that same paragraph just to make sure.

I have a feeling this was added afterwards as it was a fairly big deal on the Ableton forum at the time.
