Much of Live's interface comes from being designed for use in live performance as well as for production. When i had took at their forums found, all the old time LIVE users are now abandoning LIVE 8 and going elsewhere.

excellent video - I've been suffering through warping in 8 for weeks and this video will speed things up for me. STILL wish it was easy and quick to warp vinyl rips though!

Honestly that was the best and most no-brainer way to show how to warp in 8. I almost didn't upgrade to 8 from 7 because of just the warping itself & I'd like to think I'm pretty dead on with warping for Live but 8 was not as easy. Is it true that with Complex Pro, it keeps the files sounding true like in Beats / Pitch mode? I love how Complex (Live 7) kept the key sounding right but when it came to anything more than +3 to +5 BPM change, the kick drums & basslines just started sounding fluttery & you almost always got this phasing sound with tracks. I hear Complex Pro mode changed all that?

It says about the sliding waveform on page 123 of the manual...only one sentence though and is much clearer to see it on screen.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't in there when I made the videos as I read it back and forth around that same paragraph just to make sure.
