Default Music production press,magazines etc

What kind of music prodution/realization press you read ?

Recently i thought it would be nice o buy something like this in store, and i bought polish

ESTRADA I STUDIO ONLINE

fantastic magazine ,though i think not available in english.

a lot of tests ,reviews ,news ,and included dvd with soft, tutorials and otehr usefull stuff.

I would say it is aimed into more proffesional users, with already good background in music production ,but it is worth every penny. For passionats . If it is available in english i will give you a sign.

I know most of people cant imagine how poland can be connected with electronic music, but i will add for example that psp vintage warmer is polish product, and whole psp audioware ,http://www.d16.pl/ is also polish group, maybe best recreations of some vintage instruments.

What kind of press you buy ? I think it is nice to share because english language magazines are usually available in whole europe

Used to pick up computer music, and future music every once in a while, both are in english. The tutorials were very beneficial and the accompanying dvd's were always packed with good stuff, plus they had tutorials by well known artists sometimes, which would highlight what techniques they used in some of their hits.

Thing is the those magazines became overloaded with advertisements and product previews, and so the amount of useful information started to dwindle. Tho every once in a while, when im in a bookstore ill take a peek at them.

the d16 plug ins are great, ill reach for drumazon every once in a while when starting new projects.

First ever mag I read was Music Technology from 1989, it was actually what got me into production and I still have my copy of it to this day.

In the 90's mostly ready Future Music and Sound On Sound.

At this point I don't pay too much attention to any mags unless I've got some time to kill in a bookstore. Living in UK makes it pretty easy to find them at least.

But ya as far as Poland a lot of great stuff from there. I bought the PSP packs when they first came out in 2000 or so, been a fan since.

An engineer friend put me up to MT/CM & FM Mags when i first got started as he figured it was much better suited to what i was doing. Now like most, i usually have a look at the content cover and only buy it if it interest me. SOS has been my Fav for awhile now. Pick it up if you get a chance, i think you will enjoy it

Przechuy, you can try getting an annual subscription on FM or SOS via their website. You can also purchase back cats if you missed them.
