i was just saying, maybe, it's just the sounds Medway is making in the studio, not sound in general.....

A lot of it is just down to good sound selection and programming. Once you have that, mix-wise it's not too tough. I just did a mixdown for a client who wanted this sound and got very close to a deadmau5 track.
