Default Compression

Well i'm gonna post it.
training on the use and settings of compression in every possible situation. A VST, audio file, kick drum, etc.
As you well know, Jesse, I am completely clueless when it comes to compression......

what compression settings u use to make kick samples more contained and not pop out of the speakers?

I fast attack can help this as it tames the start of the kick. A longer release will also contain the sustain of the kick so it depends on where the issue is.
